What is Organic Humanity

Organic Humanity’s core mission is to keep fundraising short and simple. In 4 steps, one can donate as little as $1 to a cause and within less than a minute have a confirmation of the donation. And for charities that have their own chip-in account, the donation is immediately available.

The primary charities it aims to help, though not exclusively, are small charities that work directly with disadvantaged children and young mothers. It aims to bring great transparency between the donors and the recipients. Above all, it turns fundraising into “fun-raising” because of the social network integration of the website.

“Fundraising” into “Fun-raising”

One of the key aspects of Organic Humanity is to allow the interaction of the donors and its adopted charities. We encourage positive comments and feedback from the donors, and the recipient charities will be giving updates on the work they are doing with pictures, videos, etc., using the variety of social network sites. This makes an otherwise impersonal fundraising into a personal “fun-raising.”

Being a Stakeholder

The Organic Humanity core concept is to make donors into stakeholders. This is why we encourage interactivity between the field volunteers and the the donors. We believe that many would like to be in the field, however, for whatever circumstances, the best way to get involved is by providing financial assistance. But it should not stop there.

We are a firm believer of collaborative work. Those who are engaged in a charity could give suggestions on a new program, or better approach to a problem. They could even share their previous experience or “donate” their expertise.

Organic Humanity is not just about raising funds, though its an essential part of it. It is just as about in engaging those who would be passive donors into active workers. All of us have a role to play in helping others.

A Green House of Ideas

There will be a time when a small and limtied site like Organic Humanity will no longer be sufficient to the needs of a growing charity. For this reason, we view Organic Humanity as an incubating site for charities who are too small to start a full pledge fundraising work with websites and advertising.

Our main goal is to help these small charities and connect them to otherwise unknown partners. Our hopes is that in time, these partnerships will grow and flourish. Our work in Organic Humanity would have been accomplished.
